I've never purchased an unlocked phone before and looking to get a Note 10 Plus and I'm on TMO.

I've now been watching Swappa for about 2mos now and the prices are still mostly around $650 and up from there. I need to be under $600.

Joining the unlocked section would add to the number of available phones and pricing for me.

Any words of wisdom or warnings on purchasing an unlocked phone? Thank you.

it really would depend on your carrier. some carrier features may not be available on an unlock phone.

I am wondering this as well. I have someone with an unlocked from Samsung note 10 plus. I have Verizon. Wondering if I will get 3g, LTE and WiFi calling.

I've used my Note 10+ on both TMO and now Verizon ...fully working on all things such as wifi calling and such ...

I have note 10+ unlocked, using on Verizon. Pretty much that I see I'm missing is video calling. So I use duo.
Love having an unlocked phone. One of the best decisions I've made regarding phones. Biggest thing, no bloat wear from Verizon!

Am on unlocked with T-mobile. It does support RTT in dialer and also wifi calling without issues. I moved on to unlocked since note 8 and feel am in control on my phone, rather than carriers. Also, I hated carrier logos when I restarted phone. 😀

Yeah those splash screen lol

Running a unlocked on TMO without issues. VMM is available for download if you want it. The phone also works well abroad with Magenta intl. 2G data.

I bought my Note 10+ from Best Buy when I was with Sprint. Changed two months later to t-mobile. Have never missed anything with this phone. The only thing I've noticed is people posting here updates they get and I usually get mine a few days later. I just ordered an s20+5G and ordered it unlocked.
