I have my pre-order for the GSM version in and I have 2 questions:

1. Does the Nexus have sim or Micro-sim?

2. Can I just pop in my sim (if the right type) and go? Or do I need to mess with any settings or anything to get it to work properly or best optimized for use in the USA?

The wait is killing me!

I'm sick of my iPhone 4. Ready to make the permanent move to android.

Sim

Yes. All you need is an active sim card on one of the supported networks (which I think is all of them). I've done it on both ATT and TMobile. (not with a Galaxy Nexus, but a Nexus One)

Depends on the nexus... ive seen sim and micro sim... as well as some of them being sim-free. Since its unlocked, i dontthink sim-free will be the case. The micro sim may have been the verizon version as well

Not sure what do you mean by SIM-Free. In Europe and Asia, SIM-Free means the phone is completely unlocked and can be used with any SIM cards.

To answer the original question, the Engadget hands on video shows normal SIM card.
