Unlocked phone. Missing features

Hello, this is my first unlocked device. I went ahead and called ATT so I'd have all my basis covered. VVM and WIFI calling are working. My problem is messaging.

I do not have the option to turn on advanced messaging using the stock Samsung app so I figured I'd give the Google messaging and RCS a try. I can't seem to get that feature to work either. The status is stuck on "connecting".

My needs are not complicated. I just like to be able to see when my messages are delivered and read.

And help?

There are some who have encountered this recently , best thing i can suggest Is clear app data then force stop and wait 24 hours to 7 days see if it kicks in . This for google messages

I've just finishing up setting this up and do not have any issue at all. Try clearing CACHE and redo the steps. And yes, I have unlocked variant with AT&T
