I thinking of getting an Edge. I'm currently with verizon. I've see several that are unlocked but they were unlocked from either T-mobile or AT&T.
So I have a few questions about unlocked phones:

1.Will I have full functionality on Verizon's network?

2.Does it matter that it was on AT&T pr T-mobile

3. Does buying an unlocked phone from another Network affect the network I'm currently?

4. Will there be bloatwear from the other network on the phone?

Check the specifications on the device, specifically if it's CDMA compatible. Verizon is a CDMA network, ATT and T-Mobile are GSM. The vast majority of unlocked phones are GSM only. The reason is Verizon has to approve the phone to be programmed to it's network. You can't just drop a sim card in and go like ATT and T-Mobile.

An ATT or T-Mobile phone will not work on Verizon at all, it does not have the required hardware for a CDMA network.

Samsung does sell the S7 edge that is compatible with GSM and CDMA networks in the us that is factory unlocked. The nice thing about unlocked you will not have any carrier bloat added to the phone. Seeing as how its a phone that is approved for Verizon's network you shouldn't have any issues using the features Verizon offer. I would their tech support and verify through them.

if you want to use your phone with any network in any any where in world then you have to need unlock code and unlock code does not effect on your current service . GSM phone easy to unlock and CDMA is sometime create a problem to unlock .

Good place to check is http://www.willmyphonework.net. Some carrier sold phones will work everywhere in the region they were sold in, but most will not. Samsung is all over the place when it comes to network support... Some support all, others are tightly restricted.
