Unlocked S10 no voicemail notification

[Android Central Question]

I have a factory unlocked galaxy s10+ I get no notifications when I recieve a voicemail also have no voicemail app to try and get notifications from. Am I missing something? Samsung says it's my carriers fault my carrier says it's samsungs fault I am with boost mobile. If I call my VM I can get my messages fine however I am just not notified of new ones

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Apps​, select Phone, then Notifications. Are Voicemail notifications turned on?
