that was a deep cut...lol no the unlocked version get updates quarterly

I have pretty good reception by me, no need for it

I keep it off as well with T-Mobile on my unlocked S9+ or any other phone on T-Mobile. AT&T is the carrier that I need WiFi calling for at my house so I can't use them on an unlocked S9+. My only choices for WiFi calling enabled phones with AT&T are unlocked iPhones or actual AT&T phones.

I have a T-Mobile unlocked Note 8 that will work with my AT&T sim and I am able to enable WiFI calling on it. It's some change they've made on carrier unlocked phones on Oreo.

You use both carriers to see which gets better reception?

No. I've had T-Mobile for many years because of the poor reception I get with AT&T. I've been upset with T-Mobile because they've taken away some things on my plan that were once included so I got a line on AT&T to try them out again. I bought a Note 9 through them and bring that's it's their carrier model, it actually helps improve the poor signal at my house to where the service is at least usable to make calls in the day. I have no data at all because my signal goes to zero bars in the day but that's where wifi calling takes over and it works great. At night, I get 1-2 bars and I can actually get LTE so I can actually use my data service then.

I'm kind of torn now because I want to leave T-Mobile but I'm kind of afraid to because of how my service is with them. Away from home, it's good but still not add good as T-Mobile. I just hate that T-Mobile is taking away she features that my plan used to include for free. Now they charge for those like HD streaming and high speed tethering which AT&T included already in my plan with them.

Yeah I hear you

Nope Verizon did not have it till now.. t mobile had it from the beginning.. any reason why you'd disable it?

on t mobile wifi calling doesn't allow mms. You have to turn it off or turn wifi off. tmobile knows about it, their fix is to turn wifi calling off.

Okay didn't know that would be a problem.. I don't use MMS.. I guess I'm alright for now, thanks
