So, I'm living a bit of a nightmare and would appreciate a second opinion. I have two unlocked S25+ purchased new from samsung.com on verizon networks. Both are experiencing the same issues (sending MMS messages are delayed sometimes minutes sometimes 4+ hours, sometimes forever). One phone has worse delays than the other for some reason.
I've had 3 hours of calls with Verizon and two hours of calls with Samsung. They want me to drop off a ubreakifix and then after that will probably tell me to send in the phones to samsung, but there's no way this is realistically a hardware problem on 2 separate phones... right?
Everything else works, SMS, RCS, calls, data, inbound MMS.
After scouring AC forums some more I did find someone saying you check your APN, and sure enough MMSC is showing as blank, so eureka maybe I just need to manually input correct verizon APN settings since there's some glitch between unlocked samsung phones and verizon sims, not correctly throwing APN settings.
Problem is, apparently verizon made a deal with google where APN settings are locked whenever it has a verizon sim installed (all change settings are greyed out).
Any thoughts and advice are welcome here. Are APN settings my culprit? And if-so, how can I change these?
