I know this is a pretty common topic, whether an unlocked CDMA phone can work on a GSM network??. I'm reading different answers regarding this so I wanted to get some solid clarification.
I'm with T-Mobile, and looking at a few used Galaxy S10+'s. All are unlocked, one is a Verizon phone, the other two are Sprint. I know that both carriers are on CDMA, and T-mobile is on GSM. All sellers for these phones claim they will work with "any carrier".
I always understood that CDMA and GSM phones were not interchangeable between carriers??. Now I'm reading that some later CDMA phones(unlocked) can be used on the GSM network, if they have sim cards?. True/false ??
I have to be certain on this..... I don't want to get stuck with a phone I can't use and have to return it.
