I see only carrier related update threads in this forum and so stated this. I will keep updating this thread as and when I receive update on my beloved unlocked Note 8. Currently on November patch.

Just received December security patch update.

Me too. Now I am debating whether I should apply the update or try the Pie beta.

oops.. I thought beta need December patch

I thought it required the CRK1 build, the new update is CRL2.

somehow I feel the phone animations moving between applications is great with this update and overall phone feels snappy. Also samsung keyboard is much better.

Just received December patch as well. Took long enough.

Got the Pie update yesterday and phone out of beta.

After pie update SOT reduced to 3 hours and I almost gave up on my note. But, after updating it to April security patch level using smart switch it is back to 4 to 5 hour SOT. Glad it is back but after a long struggle though.
