Unlocked US G4

Does anyone know if there is going to be a Unlocked US version of the G4? I keep seeing all the articles and it seems to be only carrier branded phones available.

I suspect there might be, due to the fact that the people doing the test drivers have been getting carrier unlocked devices - but I haven't seen any official word of that nature yet.

There is difference between carrier unlocked and unbranded unlocked devices. Getting unlocked is no big deal, buy from carrier and get it unlocked from some third party service immediately. But we need an unbranded unlocked without any crappy carrier branding and customization.

Currently looks like the only way to buy that is from eBay and third party sellers. There was another thread discussing this and you want to buy the international H815 model. I think it costs around $700 from eBay which is almost same cost as off contract carrier models after tax since no taxes buying from eBay. I think I'll probably go for the unbranded unlocked H815 model.
