Unlocking Moto x 2013 without a sim

I have a Moto x 2013 32gb that is ATT locked, also have the unlock code from ATT. I am using a new Moto X and would like to unlock this one to sell, problem is my current carrier is Consumer Cellular which uses ATT so my current simm is accepted on the ATT phone. Is there any way to unlock the phone without a foreign simm, or should I just sell it with the unlock code?

Problem solved I just went to Amazon and bought a T-mobile simm

You could sell it with an unlock code. Do you happen to have a friend that uses an iPhone or other nano sim on T-Mobile? You could use their sim to unlock your phone. Also, maybe try going into a T-Mobile store and asking to borrow a deactivated or unused nano sim to unlock your phone. They would probably help you out.
