Does anyone have any links to unlocking software so I can get them before the ban? Thanks

it will not affect that software we use to root and unlock boot loaders. It is banning the software that stripped carrier network locking so phones can be used on other carriers networks with out permission. Bassically you cant take a T-mobile phone and force it to ATT and vise/versa. Our stuff is CDMA and pretty much a non issue seeing as how they are ESN filtered on top of being carrier locked.

I suppose apps are considered software right?
if you're looking to unlock apps from other carriers , there's an "app for that" ;)

You need to remember that unlocking your phone for use on other carriers is not the same as rooting or installing a custom ROM. You have a CDMA phone so the law doesn't apply to you anyway because your phone can't simply be unlocked to be used on other networks in the first place.
