Unlocking Verizon Note 7?

Trying to figure if this is possible, I live between the US and Caribbean and upgraded from a Note 3 the 7 recently, but I'm realizing now that the 7 is ?CDMA? Is there a way to get this phone unlocked to work with another sim?

Any input will help.

For T Mobile, they require the phone to be paid off, which was the only way to unlock my note 5 to give to my dad. Once paid off, t mobile has an app that unlocks it without calling in.

Is your paid off?

From my experience with the note 5 and what I know about Verizon phones, it is SIM unlocked and would work with any other SIM. You may have to manually enter the apn settings to use data and you won't get OTA software updated with a nonverizon SIM.

I'm hoping this is how it goes with the note 7 also. Don't care about the OTA updates really, just need to be able to use my other number while out of the US.
