Unmounting the SD card

Hi all,

I can't get my micro SD card to unmount from both my Galaxy S3 and S4. When I go to settings>more>storage there is only a "mount SD card" option and if I click on it nothing happens. Any help would be much appreciated. Trying to unclick it from the back doesn't work either. The only other issue I have with my phone is that the Google Play Store app no longer works. Sorry if this is a nerdy question, but could the issue be related at all?

Maybe try rebooting your phone and clearing the cache.

Looks like your device can't mount the sd card. You might try reformatting it. As for your play store issue I'd start by clearing all the data for the app.
