Prototype dual-screened 2-in-1 Android smartpad from Imerj preview -- Engadget
Seriously I just don't get it. I do not see this bringing anything better to the table that what the Echo already has.
Now if it had dual retina display that would open up to a 960x1280 resolution I would say that was something. But as it is I see a less elegant implementation than the Echo. I like the fact that the Echo is much smaller than say an Evo yet has twice the resolution. I like the way the hinge works on the Echo. I think there could come another leap in this kind of implementation but I do not think the unit in this article is it.
And since this seems to be the one of the few Echo user forums that doesn't have "fail" in their post titles I was curious what other may think.

- It is closed outward-facing so both screens are exposed when carrying.
- The hinge looks really simple. I looks like my Libretto opening and closing "backwards".
- It is bigger yet has the same resolution.
- It has an unidentified processor that will be "newer" - yet and phone that comes out later can have a newer processor. An Echo hardware refresh could have a newer processor.
