unocked 6p work with bell canada?

I have a chance to buy a 6p off a buddy at a good price but its locked to vidiotron he says, just wondering if i can get it unlocked and would it work with bell mobility? thanks for any help!

All 6P devices are carrier unlocked. You can switch sim cards. As for compatibility with bell, I'd look up the specs and compare it with what Bell's supported channels are. Chances are that it will work.

I don't know if that's is true. Any 6P bought from Google or Huawei is unlocked but one that was bought under contract from a carrier is most likely locked. I wouldn't buy the phone unless I knew for a fact that it's unlocked.

It is locked to videotron, that's what i was asking if i have it unlocked will it work with bell? Thanks

Is the device paid off? If not they won't unlock it. I'd just buy a new one from Google, I saw a mention that they are discounting it by $50 today as a Xmas special.
