Unofficial Gingerbread release for Optimus One?

Just saw this: Lg Optimus One Gingerbread Update | Android Gingerbread I guess it'll happen in the next few days/weeks.

This actually a real optimus gingerbread build. Those devs over at xda are having a field day with it. Seems it is an test build and are having issues with it playing nice lol. You local devs should check it out. I think they moved over to their devs section as the chatter died off. Thier kernal is not playing nice either. But it gives hope to future rom and stock gingerbread!

If you read thru the entire thread, they are having issues getting things to work right. And it is meant for thier phone. I know I wont try until they have it working correctly and make the needed corrections for sprint. But thats just me . . .
