I emailed LG customer support asking when the wireless charging back would be released. I received this in response:

Thank you for contacting LG Mobile Communications.
We sincerely regret any difficulty you may have encountered regard the accessories (particularly the Wireless Case) for your LG V10 mobile phone. I do recognize the inconvenience this is causing and please accept our apology for the trouble or inconvenience you have experienced.
In response to this concern, I’m afraid the item is indeed not yet carried in LG USA’s Part Sales department or in the online shop. However, it has already been confirmed by our Marketing Unit that the one posted in Amazon is a genuine LG case for the V10. This may be found on this link:*Robot Check
