Unread badges

Hi all!

Samsung Galaxy S5 4.4.2;

So I was wondering about unread badges attached to my notifications at the home screen. It seems so far that touch wiz only has allowed Facebook to use unread badges, this is bothersome. I really want to use unread badges for the majority of my apps but I cannot figure out how to turn them on if my life depended on it!

Does anyone know how to turn on say, hangouts unread badge or gmail? Even twitter!?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Get Nova Launcher then download the unread badges app.

I don't want nova launcher. I like touch wiz so far. Touch wiz should have unread badges in it anyways, they did on the S4
