(unresolved) Misc issues SD Card, Installs, reborn, .andme.destroying ?

I am having an issue I have been trying to figure out for about a week or so.

Here is some of the things happening and semi order of how things went:

Installed Amazon market, downloaded a few apps.
2nd day I uninstalled one app. But it didnt want to uninstall (was pac man).
Kept hanging around until a few restarts then I was able to fully uninstall.

Since this time I have noticed that SD card reads have been majorly slow.
Sometimes takes many restarts for programs to start getting noticed by phone.

Today I was installing another app and Phone did a total crash and reboot.
Then I had to get the battery out becouse of a lock up after reboot.
Tryed rebooting again and still having issues with reading SD card Data.

I also look at app management and it says computing on all, stays on for a very long time
Tried unmounting SD and that just crashes.

I can give more info if needed.
I run ADW launcher (Tried LG launcher, didnt make a difference)
Reborn 2.1

I do have a new MicroSD coming soon, 32gb, I can see if its a card issue but I dont think so.

Are you overclocked to high? Did you try a reflash (dirty) of Reborn? Also, backup your sd card to your pc and then format it. Restore files and remount.

No I didnt try a reflash, because I have had the rom since it was nameless and it worked fine.
Will probably do a titanium full backup and also PC SD card backup when I get the new one in.

I tried many restarts, inserting SD card. Launcher changes and still not reading SD contents, but it does read the size.
One thing I noticed is when I did download something from the amazon market, it is now stuck on install.
Is there a cache of where apps are stored before install?

Update. I did have the programs reload , not sure how I got it to go. so now I can see SD saved app on launcher.
Did an uninstall of Android market app, and reinstall.
Redownloaded Stupid Zombies (the app that did a crash last time). It downloaded and went to install. Then Boom restart of phone.

Update
Today I noticed that the updates download ok. But any apps that I have on memory card stay on installing. Looks like any source its the same. If I restart when it is installing SD apps. Startup will also have read errors.

I am not sure if anyone is following this or not. But here is my current status.
I did a dirty flash, that made no difference.
So did data wipe, cache wipe, dalvik.
Pretty much took out everything VIA xionia .
Re installed Reborn 2.1.
Flashing noiqagent didnt work so did another wipe and did just Reborn 2.1
reinstalled all missing apps and data VIA titanium backup.
reinstalled ADWs backup.
installed new SD micro card. copied data to pc and recopied to new SD.
Everything seems fine except for a few programs are not wanting to load from titanium backup.
It seems to stall when trying to reinstall a few of the apps.

Today I noticed that anything installing or installing seem to lag or go nowhere
did updates from markst they seem to download ok but do not get anywhere on installing.
I am sure I am missing something if anyone has a suggestion

As long as you have a good nandroid backup from before, use that Stock-VD nandroid backup and
restore to that, then do a dirty flash of Reborn 2.1 over the Stock VD nandroid restore.

No wipes are necessary and yes, as posted in the Reborn 2.1 thread, noIQagent patch doesn't work in 2.1

Once you do that, try the phone and some installs of apps from Market.

If those work ok - then go ahead and try to restore your apps/data with Titanium backup.

Also - if you can, before doing this, do a fresh re-format of your SD card on a PC,
but backup any data off of it first, you can re-copy it back on later.

Ok now I am confused
I loaded the old SD card into a stock Optimus and getting the same result. This is after erasing all data from the card except for titanium backup files.
I took out my old origional SD card and that seems to work ok on my rooted optimus( my phone).

When I redid my phone I did it from data wipe and fresh install of Reborn 2.1

So tried just doing a new 32gb card.
Was formated fat32
just moved contents from older 16gb card to the new 32 gb one after new rom and data.

The stock phone has the same issues with installing lagging and uninstalling lagging, such as reading the card.
Is it a format issue?

I doubt its format issues.

What class is the card? Class 4? 6? 10?

Higher the class, the faster the card.

Put your 16GB card into a Win XP/Vista/7 machine and reformat it Fat-32
Do not do the quick format, have it do the long format to verify the card as it formats.

Re-copy the data onto your 16GB card, put back in the phone, see how it reacts.

How much memory do you have available on your phone?

Menu -> Settings -> SD Card and Storage -> How much internal space available?

The old one is a class 2 the newer one is class 4. I didn't benchmark it.
internal is usually 60 mb or so. I will work on reforming again and see what happens. Will probably take all data off and format with xionia.

I did xionia sd partition and also am working on doing restoring files.
Being more selective this time.
One thing that caught my interest is a file named .andme.destroying
it says destroying file.
I will start testing out the card in the phone soon and seeing how it goes but found this very interesting.

I swear I cannot win
When restoring a few of the apps from titanium backup it crashed on me or restarted.
So did a Dirty Flash of Reborn 2.1
Then seen that contacts, market, settings etc are missing,
Did a system batch restore from titanium backup to see if it fixed the issue.
But even after reboot all contacts, etc are still missing.
I created a 2nd partition on SD card, is that what is making the difference?

I take it back still is restarting after trying to restore some apps

If anyone else has anything more to add to this thread please do.
I am going to change the title to unresolved.
Right now I was able to back up everything VIA Nandroid and Titanium.
The only current issue is when installing apps is when it gets to the end of the install cycle, it sometimes restarts itself.
Seems to act different depending on how soon installing after restarting.
So to anyone reading this thread of have any input please do, thank you to all those who have gave suggestions and helped.

That wasn't the issue, it as if the app or program itself was missing. Same with Market , and any default android apps.

I did a data wipe and another reinstall and that fixed that issue.
