Unresponsive lock screen

Sometimes when I try to unlock my Nexus S, the touch screen will not recognize my swipes. I have to turn off the screen and turn it back on, and then it works.

Has this been happening to anyone else?

Can't say it has. if is something that began happening lately, consider what you installed before this began happening and remove it. If not help, consider doing a factory reset and see if it continues with the phone in factory condition.
