Unresponsive screen after a phone call

I love this phone, but for some reason after a phone call my screen stays turned off and cant turn it back with either a knock on or the power button. The phone is still powered on, because I can see the LED blinking but screen is unresponsive. Any ideas? Its an odd issue

Might be a problem with the proximity sensor. Do you have a screen protector or case on? These can interfere with the proximity sensor function.

Hmmm.....this makes sense. I did just put a screen protector on. Guess I ll ditch it if this continues

Just cut a little hole in the screen protector where the sensors are located. You'll be protecting your screen and be able to use your phone at the same time.
