unrevoked is "waiting for device"

I have tried to root with unrevoked over and over. I am using windows, so installed the HBOOT drivers the way that they said to on their website. Before I did that, unrevoked would recognize my phone but not root, obviously because the drivers were not installed properly.

Now that the drivers are installed, unrevoked does not recognize my phone. help?

Did you uninstall HTC Sync?
