Unroot: OK to Just Uninstall SuperUser?

I installed SuperUser shortly after getting my AT&T LG G3. I thought I would poke around and see what I could do with a rooted phone, but I never did.

Now, the software update process is blocked because the device is "suspected of rooting". Can I just uninstall SuperUser and the phone would then no longer be rooted? Or is the process more involved than that? I'd like to avoid a full reset, if possible,

Thanks!

Do not uninstall SuperUser. What you should do is get SuperSU app. In the settings there will be an option to unroot called Full Unroot. Use this, and attempt to update.
