I tried to do a factory reset from recovery then boot and undies the same thing. I tried to get into download mode and it won't let me. I keep holding the power and volume down and it goes to the Samsung screen then blank then back to the Samsung screen

By the way. Right now until you have access to the computer you should power off the phone. Plug it in and let it charge. You don't have a brick right now. But if the battery dies in the middle of an Odin you will. So charge the phone. Just to be sure .

Well there is no way you have recovery and no download mode. If the bootloader was corrupt you wouldn't have any recovery to boot into. So when you have a good charge pull the battery. Put it back in. Be sure that you are holding volume down and power at the same time. Until a black screen with green letters show up.

No you don't need tobacco or a computer to get into download mode. Yes you hold until that screen comes up saying you can damage the device by installing unofficial firmware. Once you see that screen you can let go. Let me grab a link to the unrooted. Did you want gingerbread or ics?

This is the ics you want. It is latest and its leaked. Meaning its not been put out by sprint. But its the best release to date. And most bugs from the fh13 release has been fixed. If you want the actual latest release let me know and I will get you that as well. This has been packaged by rwilco. OK thank u. I keep trying to get in to download mode and it just won't let me. I hold the buttons down and it goes to the Samsung screen, blank and the led blinks blue then back to the Samsung screen.

Do you have a jig by any chance? Its a little USB jig that forces the phone into download mode. You can get it from eBay or make your own.

OK then use the fh13. Do you continue to hold the buttons after it comes back up? It may reboot two times before it comes up with the screen.

This jig will force download mode. All you will have to do after you make it is plug it in. Download mode will appear. And you can use the fh13 one click to get back to stock unrooted latest release by sprint.
