i am trying unroot my sprint hero because the rom i am using has a lot of bugs. i am running the froyo rom. when i try to run the ruu it comes up with the error 170. can somebody help me. thanks!

You can use z4 root app to unroot, but you need to be on the stock ROM. Try flashing to a stock 2.1 and run the z4 app to unroot. If that doesn't work, try another RUU.

There is a flashable RUU from fastboot, read into that and see if you can use it. There is an sd card method on xda but I can't find it right now.
