Unrooted Gingerbread Update + Root...Can or when?

Hey everyone...I recently was able to update my non-rooted Infuse to Gingerbread via Kies Mini and GTG Unbrick to un-update from the November update and Gingerbread is now working well...however I'm still interested in Rooting my phone....is there a way to still root it or is someone working on it?
