Unsupported SD card (but works in other devices) "179 public failed..."

My sd card became unsupported after removing and inserting it again in my Samsung 7 (Nougat), it works in another Samsung phone but in my Samsung S7 - doesn't (it seems all issues came after Nougat updated). Showing message as "Unsupported SD card" and suggests to Format it but format fails with message "command '22 volume partition disc: 179,0 public' failed with '400 22 Comand failed"

Welcome to the forums. What SD card is the one giving you trouble?

Can you format it in your PC then see if the phone can read it?

I did format in PC - no changes

This is really strange. I would say the card is bad, but the PC can read and format it. I am not sure what to say.

This just happened to me after removing and reinserting the card. I tried formatting via phone and I get an error message. Prior to that, I was able to access everything on the SD via my computer. WTH?
