Until replacement: Safe way to charge your Note 7

For those of you who are holding onto your Samsung Note 7 while you wait for a replacement but are still a bit worried about charging your phone. Here is a way you can safely charge your phone. All you need is the phone, the charger and a Li-Po protection bag that you can buy at any hobby store.

Hahaha I ordered one of these literally last night before going to bed. I remembered these from my phase of enthusiasm for RC cars and drones. I almost made a post about it here, but it was too late, and totally forgot this morning...

Jesus... lol. If I was worried enough to put my phone in that bag, I would return it immediately.....

Or maybe try out an app like this battery temp alarm. It says it'll take your phone out of Do Not Disturb or Mute mode and alert you that the battery is getting too hot. I'll give it a try at least.

Or just connect it to an older, slower wall charger. Or turn off quick charge, if you can still do that on Samsung's.

In the RC world they put lithium batteries in a bag and charge them for a reason.

As far as quick charge versus slow charge I haven't heard whether which actually causes the damage.
