unusable due to error message!

hi
my tab 2 is coming up with an error every few seconds "unfortunately the process android.process.acore has stopped". I tried reformatting but it makes no difference.
any ideas please
I can't return the tab as it's out of warranty

I pressed the vol up and power buttons to get to the system recover menu, then chose wipe data/factory reset.

I think Acore has something to do with contacts. Try deleting data for Contacts, Contact Storage and possibly Facebook.
