Unwanted apps with old versions downloading on my mom's Samsung phone

NEED HELP: On my mom's Samsung Galaxy A50, when I am searching on Google and browsing on Chrome, I am getting unwanted apps with older version like Old Google+, Google Currents (not the Currents replacing Google+), Android Market and others. The apps are downloaded from an unknown source as in Google Play you can only download new apps versions. Please see the screenshot where my mom got these unwanted apps:

Did she restore this phone using a backup from a much older phone? If not, then she most likely installed some app that carries some kind of malware that automatically installs other apps. You'd have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem goes away -- I'd focus on any app that wasn't installed from the Play Store.

Also, turn off Unknown Sources in Settings>Apps>Advanced>Special App Access>Install Unknown Apps​, which should at least prevent these apps from being installed automatically.
