Every morning at 7:30 the settings on my tab 3 8.0 change all by themselves. ok, I know *something* is doing it but all I can get off Event Logger is some "system UI" baloney. It doesn't say what app is making the changes. When I wake up, the wi-fi is on, timeout is reset to 1 min., & my screen brightness is up to around 40%, instead of my usual 20%. has anyone else experienced this and do you know what the devil is causing it? And more importantly, how do I put a stop to it? If I forget to change these things back each morning, my battery is drained very quickly.
TIA,

I HAVE RESOLVED THIS ISSUE!
I have been deleting a single app on a daily basis, those I either suspected (usually due to a large number of unnecessary permissions) and some that I simply no longer use. Yesterday, I finally hit it.
I know there are a lot of pros & cons regarding anti virus apps but I've always felt better with some extra protection on my tablet. Being a broke cheapskate complicates things even further. A free app named 360 Security, which has fairly decent ratings, seemed to be the answer.
I will say that it was installed for some time without any problems, so it must have been an update that caused all my problems. Apparently Microsoft & Google aren't the only ones with crappy update results!
Oh well, at least I know what caused it. I may go back and try it again, to see if a fresh install will work without the daily hassles. Need it or not, I still feel better knowing I've got a little more protection than what Samung & Google provide, since I don't trust either of them as far as I could throw them.
Cheers,
