Unwanted music starts playing...

My Note 10+ 5G phone starts playing music out of the blue. Only way I know how to stop it, is to restart the phone. Has anyone else have (had) this problem? How do you fix it? I'm on the current release of Android.

Is it playing music stored on your phone or from an app? Can you tell if it's after installing an app like malware?

My note 10+ started playing music automatically. I don't have the music on my phone, that I'm aware of. I can't shut it off either. I have to reboot to make it stop. But after awhile the music starts playing again. Does anyone know how to stop this?

are u sure its music player?? not alarm maybe? wired , never ever happen to me and never read about any problems like u say

Pull down notifications and see what's up.

Put in safe mode see if it goes away, if it does most likely a 3rd party app is causing it.

Yes it's definitely music. It doesn't sound firmiliar. It's not from a ring tone. It's like elevator music. But it's intermittent. It happened 3 or 4 times yesterday. But it hasn't happened yet today. WEIRD!

Is it the same clip playing over and over, or does it sound like some streaming music station?

Put in safe mode see if it goes away, if it does most likely a 3rd party app is causing it.

Yeah I would tract that down before it learns any new tricks.
Any recently downloaded anything including jpegs?
You know the day it started?
Any apps or downloads with that time stamp?

Scan with Stubborn Trojan Killer and Malwarebytes, they may find other nasties too.

I think I would rather have music playing out of the blue than voices like I used to get from the echo when I first got it or the maniacal laugh it did.

think anyone was play pranks on you? do you normally play music on your phone? I read pandora used to do it on apple phones.

it turned out to have something to do with using bluetooth at the time and not disconnecting. I think there was a fix in one of the updates.
