Here is how I reproduce it on my E4GT and began happening immediately after update.
1) Set the system screen brightness on lowest.
2) Set the default browser brightness to automatic (Selecting manual brightness)
3) Browse the web
This would cause the phone to lock itself randomly when browsing the web through the same browser. I suspect that the screen would lock when the brightness attempts an auto-adjusts .
Other Notes:
Immediately after update this problem was even worse. My phone would ALWAYS auto-lock right after an unlock basically leaving me stuck at the lock screen. The only way to get past this is to restart my phone where there is a brief period of time when my phone did not auto-lock. This is when i panicked and did a whole bunch of unrelated things with each reboot that somehow brought my phone back to the way it was.
Anyone notice something similar??
