Unwarranted 'Screenshots'

Yes, I noticed that many people have had this happen too. I've seen many threads on Reddit for example with people saying the same as me. Definitely something suspect.
I have no doubt your having this issue , otherwise you wouldn't of asked for help here, but you need to do the troubleshooting steps like safe mode to help determine the issue , what happens if you get the device replaced under warranty and issue continues on the new one ?

Would be nice to know what the issue is caused by going forward. Not just for Susan, but for all here. My 10+ is due here Tuesday, maybe I mess around and help you figure this out...

I'll combine my superior talent, extreme intelligence, sensual good looks, years of experience and have this solved by 6PM on Tuesday.

Hang in there Susan, help is on the way...

I'm looking forward :) I might have to retire

Yay!

I said I would report back. I've not spent a long enough period of time on my phone yet today to be able to tell.

Yea I definitely will. If nothing happens by tomorrow afternoon/evening then it'll be looking positive.

I sure hope it is OK because none of this is true:

You forgot to mention that you're originally from Atlantis and was sent to Earth to study us humans 😃

Ok, well so far so good. I've not been on my phone as much as I usually am, but so far everything is fine. I went into my Settings - Device Care - Battery - it says 'Usage by apps', and when you tap on one, depending which one it is, it gives you the option to 'Put this app to sleep when not in use'. So, I did that with all the apps that I don't need constantly running in the background. For example though, I left my Fitbit on because that app doesn't need to go to sleep unless it's on the charger. I ALSO disabled everything Bixby, so it could also be that. I'm still going to give it more time though, but so far so good!
