Looks like it is being released as I type, I have not installed it yet, but I will as soon as I get home. looks like it is only another patch update

Yeah, I think most of us got that last month... early to mid-February if I recall correctly.

There has been no change to the official word, but also no official announcement of a time line... Rumor has it that the update for the Moto X was pushed back to May according to Moto's German Twitter post, but we just don't know.

There is also growing concern that Lenovo may just drop it entirely, like they did with the Moto G 2015 line-up, even though there is no technical reason to do so. This is largely rumor with no official word though.

If there is one thing Moto is good at, it's not giving out any official timeline or expectations.
