update 4.2.2 failing

Hi all

I am just about at my wits end with this damn update my device just wont do it on matter what i do. can somebody please help me with at step by step guide or something. it is totally stock so dont get why i wont update.

nexus 7
4.1.2
JZ054K

tried booting to recovery mode but that dosent seem to do anything i just get a google logo and then nothing happens.

looking forward to getting some help

What is the problem? If you are totally stock just update the normal way. Not understanding what you are trying to do or why you're having issues..
 
I have a 4.1.1 Nexus 7 that does the same thing - the android falls over about 1/4 of the way through the update.

well just like TiredFingers said when i try to update the normal way it just fails and reboots the device

I'd stick with what you already have ....4.2.2 breaks Bluetooth horribly and is thus complete junk that makes Win 8 look like it was written by geniuses ......

Follow the sticky in this forum will revert you back to stock and then take the ota...? Best suggestion without specifics about the problem
