update 4.2.2 messed up email app

I have the 7" tab2 and three days ago did the 4.2.2 update since then the email app has shown up 25 messages every 15 minutes, from up to a month old messages, I delete them, clear out trash and 15 minutes later it does it again its driving me mad. I logged out and back in again but it has made no difference. Help! X

Welcome to the forums!
Which email app are you talking about? Is it a third party like Yahoo! or something? If so, try emailing them about what is happening. Include as many details as you can, like version of android, etc.
