Update 5.1 with custom recovery

Hey guys
I have nexus 5 with android 5.01 rooted with custom recovery TWRP .
The problem is i downloaded 5.1 in about phone > check for update
When it restart it goes to custom recovery menu and nothing happen.
I downloaded 5.1 zip file and i try to install with TWRP but it says error.
Please help
I really wanna taste 5.1

You need to install the stock recovery back on to the phone for it to work. The update is made for the stock recovery not custom ones.

I would use Wug's Toolkit to fix it. It does a ton of stuff and makes it easy to do.
