Update Bugs: Wont wake up

After the lastest OS update, I have to pull the battery every other morning after being on the charger all night. Phone wont wake up, wont shut off, doesn't respond at all. LED is flashing so I know its still running. Any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! So after pulling the battery, are you able to boot up successfully, or does nothing happen?

See if you can boot into Recovery and wipe the cache partition: Reset: Samsung Galaxy S 4 | T-Mobile Support.

If that doesn't work, try pulling the battery, removing the SD card, then reinserting the battery and powering up again. A corrupt card can cause various issues.

If it still doesn't work, then contact Verizon, since it sounds like their update that caused the problem.
