Update coming to HTC EVO 4G LTE

Re: Update coming to HTC evo 4g lte

Anyone knows why my battery saver toggles on when my battery reaches about 14% even if I had battery saver feature turned off in the first place? Will it automatically turn itself off once the battery charges up again?

Hmm, finding little things here. Holding a notification down in the notifications panel gives you app info. Nothing crazy. but neat little feature. Sure there's a lot more little nuances to discover.

i wonder if this would help people find out what apps give them spam notifications instead of having to rely on a separate app

Actually all my double and triple of same are gone thankfully ! Looks a like album order is different. Also you can move photos to different albums so easy now.

in the power saver setting, what does the conserve CPU usage setting do?

I believe it's somewhere along the lines of making sure your CPU doesn't run at a battery intensive speed. It won't make much of a difference in speed unless you're running benchmarks or a graphics intensive game.

Good question. Nobody knows. Enable more aggressive scaling? Slow it down all the time? Put one core to sleep? I hate "simplified" options with no explanations. I have to assume it does something negative, or it would just be a power saving feature that would be on, by default, all the time, with no reason to ever turn it off.....

Re: Update coming to HTC evo 4g lte

I waited for the longest to root because of this update. Last night decided forget it, so I rooted and installed mean Rom (love it). Wake up this morning and the update arrives, lol.

Happy for everyone we got JB and also happy I rooted.

Long live the Evo.

Re: Update coming to HTC evo 4g lte

OK I went looking for the answer to the Power saving mode. A few places and sources say that what happens is that it cuts you down to a maximum clock speed of 1GHZ. the official word is that it will not really affect anything unless you go for intensive games but could save you 30% on power.

Once in photo album, go to more, then move photo, there is check circle on every photo, check desired photos then click next option at bottom left it will show albums, click on album or will move to selected album.

Yes I use the ones from dualboot and they glitch a little now for me.

I still have the black one!
