Re: Update coming to HTC evo 4g lte
Thanks. I just went to test my internet browsing in Chrome in 3G with my WiFi turned off. It worked fine...but went back to check Mobile Networks settings and it had changed itself back to CDMA/LTE when I had previously set it to CDMA only.
Now I've set it to CDMA only, WiFi off and it seems 3G is working OK for browsing with Chrome. (Note I have an Airave on, but don't think this affects data)
I'll remember to switch back to CDMA/LTE mode if I can't get 3G when I'm away from WiFi.
I used to get data connection issues when in CDMA only mode, plus battery life wasn't really any better, so I went back to CDMA / LTE and had no problems since...Unlike the OG EVO I don't think it hurts to have 4g on always
