Update data profile from CM7 without sense?

So there have been various service updates on our plan with the optimus s running CM7 and I need to update the profile to get data working again, the problem is I don't have a backup of stock or sense rom and no internet to download a rom to flash. Is there some other way to do this while being stuck on CM7? any ## codes?

What radio are you running?

And don't you have a USB cable to connect to your phone? Are you posting from a PC?

Well, if you don't have it, you would need to download it. If you don't have an internet connection and can't beget one... you're hosed.

Assuming you are on ZVD, I suggest you download Reborn ROM and flash it to perform the operation--after a nandroid backup your current CM7, of course.

yeah, kind of a bad situation. It's on my girlfriends phone and currently we are in different states. and she's not very tech savvy. and trying to explain how to do these things over the phone while that is her only phone is kind of difficult. but I'll try to guide her through downloading reborn rom when she's at work next.

If you have a way to share a desktop with her, you might get a screen capture app up on the CM7 install. That way you could see what she sees and it might make the communication easier. You'd be on your own in recovery, but that should be easy enough...

I wish I could screen share. but no dice. she works at a hospital and they block all kinds of stuff. but I think I should be able to guide her while talking on the work phone. thanks for all the suggestions!
