I am a newbie eager to learn!
This morning, I received an update notice for my LG Optimus S. I attempted to update (the only part of the message I remembered was don't remove the battery) it but when it restarted it showed that it had failed.
Removing the battery after some time of waiting, the system came up with an "!" so I hit the menu button & it restarted & appears to be working again.
The phone is running Android 2.2.1
Also, the phone is rooted.
Does anyone know what this update was & how I might be able to try again.
