No. You're probably seeing a prompt from an app. Unless you don't have the latest 605.9 update yet.anyone get prompted for an update on the Thunderbolt today
I got one too. I had already updated to the latest update that came out a few days ago but I got a notice on my screen about a new update with the same version number today. My phone didn't reboot, this time, though. I didn't notice if anything actually updated.
It might be worth checking your update status to see if it says the 605.9 update was "successful" or if it says "failed". Menu, Settings, Software Update, Status.I updated days ago, But, today I recieved a prompt for a 10min new update, selected OK, checked for a new update, nothing, I don't know whats up!!!!!
What is the 605.9 update? My bolt says 605.5 from 11/19.
I just got updated too.....but don't know what the up date did?
Sounds like you recieved the VM patch update. It was released 6-8 weeks ago. You should be able to clear any stuck VM indicator by using the menus in the phone (menu, settings, Call, Clear voicemail notification). My Tbolt received some small update. Before, I couldn't get a voicemail to show and now since this small update the voicemail icon never goes away.
Well, in order to "know what the update did", you would have to know the status of your phone before the update.I still don't know what the update did
