I have a US version unlocked S8+ and received no update today. I'm using mine on T-Mobile.

Same but the carrier will not make a difference on when the US unlocked S8 gets the latest update.

Based on the OP's username, I'm going to guess they are in the UK which as we know gets the unlocked updates much quicker than the US.

had mine too frosty on S8+ UK unlocked variant, had a problem with the auto brightness not working but that's sorted now.
Noticed that it's a lil snappier at tasks now too.

Unlocked S8 Plus bought in UK (whatever version that is) on 3 mobile if that means anything, got update 750 mb yesterday too..... I'm officially in with the in crowd.

Well if it worked as efficiently as Google Now then it would've been great. I guess I'll take the July update than have Bixby at this time.

Agreed. I tried using a regional change with VPN to Germany and Singapore from the US but that didn't work in pushing the update. The fact that the UK got it is encouraging though. I still don't regret getting an unlocked.
