i don't understand this is this supposed to be pushed out on phones wifi been a day and it hasn't came up yet

i'm not sure supposed to go into system update check for updates or supposed to wait for it to come up then install very concerned

Just go in and manually check. That's how I got mine. Not sure why sometimes the update is ready but we don't get the notification, but I'm sure it's in their attempts to stagger the volume of customers doing the update.

tell me something folks i know android 10 when you go to software updates on phone you have option to turn on and off auto update over wifi

so how can one tell if auto update over wifi is turn on or not 3.0 because i don't see that option anymore and why jan software update hasn't been pushed on my phone unless i click on software updates check for updates?

automatically security updates 2-4 use software update history system update status

OTA will come when it's time or every once in awhile check manually

Pull down notification shade
Tap the gear icon in upper right corner
Scroll down to System Updates
Tap System Updates
Tap Check For System Updates

Sometimes rebooting your phone or leaving phone on overnight can trigger update prompt.

Not really, but I'm also wondering what tweaks were on this along with security updates.

however my phone doesn't have that sm g986u instead it showing system update how odd i don't know what kindof galaxy s20 phone they got verizon kept turning to see if wifi is turn on automatically software updates but since its not showing software update 1 person claim they got jan update this past thurs butt assuming his phone is unlocked not a verizon model i guess

i'm still nervous because i finally got though tech support been calling last few weeks today he claims that verizon phones already got jan security patch and ya know i'm patiently waiting

i don't know if reset network settings few weeks ago aka home wifi mess it up or power down phone and turn back on few times or what

because its system update i don't even know if software update over wifi is turn on or not because ya know if it was just software update you could toggle on and off that but since don't have that just system update i don't know option on but i assumed its on by default that why cannot toggle on or off?

i'm going to wait until tues prob have to walmart since don't like verizon talk to tech guys i wonder something matter phone and what if phone will in future won't not only update security patches but system updates like 12 down the road i have to manual do it

i really don't know what is going on when activated phone walmart dec 22nd it was on walmart wifi and it started to download security updates when i got home i put my home wifi in and though next day it did android 11 5g and another security update so not sure what is going on did i somehow made it stop doing it somehow galaxy store and playstore still auto updates over wifi on phone btw

I can check my computer tommorow see if carriers like verizon got it, I think they did but I'll double check

If it does out since Thursday then probably making its rounds to everyone
