Update from Verizon for Rooted phones..

...candlebawx posted the screen shot of the version, and the new boot animation... see -> Incredible OTA Update 1.65.605.2 - xda-developers but I most have missed Post #15 of that thread where he does apparently say he lost root. There is no follow up yet on if the root exploit still work or not after the update.

and looking closer at the video, below the speaker it says HTC, not Verizon... hmmm

Who cares, if you are rooted you wouldn't want any Verizon update to begin with. It may say HTC if he bought the phone direct from HTC. Can you even do that?

I updated

I updated the update, 2.something MB, and I couldn't use the SU permissions. I just reflashed the ROM and everything went back to normal as to root.

Thats because you took the update off. And the update you did is not the same update that supposedly takes off root. AFAIK only one person claims to have gotten that update.
