update messes up Firefox

Last night, Google updated my new Nexus 7.
Now when I open FIrefox browser and do a Search in the url window, I am taken back to the Nexus app window.
I uninstalled, then reinstalled Firfox but same thing keeps happening.
Any solution?

Yep mine too it crashes everytime. Allso spell checker no longer works its highlighting everything now. Why do they release a update thats worse? We are not bete testers we are paying customers for god sake.

Thought it was just me....everytime I search a url..with any browser..I am taken to the page but a few seconds later defaulkts to Nexus Home screen, is this what you guys get ?

It does not happen with Chrome, Opera, or Dolphin browser on my Nexus 7 - only with Firefox - which makes me think problem is with the app.
Went to Mozilla site and they listed tablets that are compatible - Nexus 7 was NOT on the list.
So, we'll have to wait a while for a proper release, I guess
