Update notification won't go away

My daughter's 18 month old S6 was running slow. I recommended a factory reset. She did.

After the reset she got a system update message. I told her to take the update. Then later, after the update, she got another update message. I told her to take that one also not knowing if whether or not there were 2 updates.

Now the update window pops up again. Now, I'm getting suspicious. There really aren't 3 consecutive updates, are there? If not, how does she disable the system update message?

18 month old phone, I wouldn't think 3 would be that unusual. Have you watched the updates to make sure they're completing normally, as it's possible the last may have failed and its trying to correct that.

I am getting the same notification - "Software Update - Update Postoned". This icon has been on my phone for 3 days now and I cannot remove it.
